A management system for plastics manufacturers
Orders are in a spreadsheet, the press schedule is on a whiteboard and scrap is on a sheet at the end of the line. Socle links the order, the press, the resin and the delivery in one system.

What this system fixes
- You can’t tell which press is free next week without asking the foreman.
- Scrap is written down on paper and nobody adds it up.
- Resin runs out in the middle of a run.
- Not all partial deliveries get invoiced.
- The real cost of an order, in press hours, stays an estimate.
- The client calls to ask how many parts are done.
The path of an order in Socle
The quantity ordered, the quantity produced and the quantity shipped are visible side by side.
Quote
You put it together with your items and your prices. Once accepted, it becomes an order with the client’s purchase order number.
Order
Each line has its quantity and promised date. The resin needed is reserved in inventory.
Production
The order is placed on a press. At each stop, the operator enters the good quantity and the rejected quantity.
Shipping
You ship all or part of the order. The packing slip prints in your colours.
Invoice
It picks up the quantities shipped and not yet invoiced, then goes to Acomba or QuickBooks by export.
What you see when you arrive in the morning
Today’s board shows what needs your attention.
Fictional example.
The modules for plastics manufacturing
Orders and promised dates, production by press, shipping, inventory of resin, colourants and packaging, and purchasing from suppliers. They’re added to the base that is in every system, with clients and suppliers, quotes and invoices, scheduling and documents.
We keep only the ones you use, with your presses, your moulds and your vocabulary.
Why not an ERP?
A full ERP often takes months to set up and is paid per user. Socle handles operations and leaves accounting to Acomba or QuickBooks. The day you need an ERP, your data will be clean and ready to bring over.
Questions from plastics manufacturers
Does Socle connect to my presses?
No, not in a first version. Operators enter the quantities on a tablet at each stop. If a connection to your machines interests you, we can talk about it during the consultation.
Can I track scrap by press?
Yes. Each stop records the good quantity and the rejected quantity, and you see the total by press and by order.
Does it replace Acomba or QuickBooks?
No. Your accounting stays where it is. Socle exports the invoices to your accounting software.
How long until it’s in service?
About two weeks for the Blueprint, then six to eight weeks to build. The date is set in the Blueprint.
