The software that runs your business. And you own it.

Socle puts together the system that handles your orders, production, work orders and invoicing. It’s built from proven modules that we adapt to your trade. The price and the delivery date are set in advance. The code, the server and the data are in your name.

  1. SSystemOne tool for the whole business instead of a dozen files.
  2. OOperationalMade for the shop floor and the field as much as the office.
  3. CCentralizedEveryone sees the same information at the same time.
  4. LLocalDesigned in Montréal and hosted in Quebec, on a server in your name.
  5. EEvolvingIt changes when your business changes.

The name says what we do.

Today, your business runs on several tools that don’t talk to each other.

Only two people know how to open the spreadsheet. Decisions get made by text message, and accounting knows nothing about what happens in the shop.

Nobody can say in thirty seconds where an order stands.

So someone calls the foreman, digs through emails, and the client waits on the phone.

Socle puts everything in one place.

Your people work in one system, built around the way you do things. It works in the office and on the road.

The modules, one by one.

  • Orders and quotesEvery order has its number, its client, its promised date and its status. You no longer have to hunt for the right version of the spreadsheet.
  • Production boardAll your orders, step by step, on a screen the shop can put up on the wall.
  • Work orders and schedulingThe technician gets the work order on their phone. They tick off the tasks, take photos and have the client sign on site.
  • InvoicingThe invoice is prepared from the order, then exported to Acomba or QuickBooks. Your accountant keeps their tools.
  • DashboardYour management numbers are up to date at all times. You don’t wait for month-end.

We start from modules that are already built.

The base exists, it’s tested, and it has been running at a client since September. You don’t pay to rebuild it.

We keep the ones you need and adapt them to your trade.

A machine shop and an HVAC contractor don’t need the same modules. Then we take your steps, your vocabulary and the reports you need.

Missing something? We can build it.

It could be a connection with a supplier or a module specific to the way you work. We talk about it during the consultation, and the price is set before we start.

We choose together during the consultation.Bringing in your spreadsheets and training your team are separate services, at a fixed price.

How it works, from the first call to go-live.

There are five steps, and you can stop after any of them. You talk to the same person from start to finish.

  1. 20 minutes, free

    Free consultation

We look together at what runs on spreadsheets in your business. If I can’t help you, I’ll tell you.

  2. 60 minutes

    Operations Diagnostic

We spend an hour on your real files, over screen share. You get a two-page note on what costs you time. If it doesn’t have three concrete actions in it, I refund you.

  3. 2 weeks

    Blueprint

Two workshops with your team to draw every screen. You leave with a fixed price for the build, and the document is yours even if we stop there.

  4. 6 to 8 weeks

    Build

I build your system and show it to you halfway through. Your team is trained before go-live, and two rounds of adjustments are included.

  5. Every month

    Evolution

Hosting, backups and support, with points for your changes. You get a monthly management report.

You talk to the same person from the first call until after go-live.

The pricing rules, written down in advance.

The price depends on what we build for you. The rules are always the same, and you know the exact price before you sign anything. Starting prices, step by step

Ask for a price for my business

A fixed price, known in advance

The Build price is set at the end of the Blueprint and does not move. There is no hourly rate. If I misjudged the work, I absorb the difference.

No per-user fees

Rented software costs more every time you hire someone. With Socle you pay one plan for the whole business, however many employees you have.

Points for your changes

Each month your plan includes points to have the system changed, like adding a field or a report. You track your balance in “Mon forfait”, and defects are fixed at no charge.

After go-live, three Evolution plans billed monthly

EssentialHosting, backups, support and a few points each month.
StandardMore points, a reply within one business day and one meeting a month.
PlusThe most points, a same-day reply and a roadmap every quarter.

You can leave any time, and you keep everything.

Most software rents you access to your own data. Here, what is built for you is yours from day one. If you change providers someday, you keep everything.

One person, from the first call to go-live.

Matheo Luong, founder. Montréal. Bachelor of Commerce (finance), McGill University. French, English, Vietnamese.

I design and build the systems I sell myself. You deal with me at the diagnostic, at the workshops, during the build and afterward. I start from components that are already proven and I test everything automatically, which lets me deliver at a fixed price in a few weeks.

Questions we get asked

How much does it cost?

The 20-minute consultation is free. The Diagnostic costs $500 and the Blueprint $2,500, and each is credited toward the next step. The Build starts at $9,000, and its exact price is set in writing at the end of the Blueprint, before you commit. The monthly plan starts at $450. All the pricing details

You work alone. What happens if you disappear?

You keep everything. The code is in a repository in your name and the server is in your account. Your data can be exported, and the handover kit lets another developer take over. It’s written into the contract.

Do I have to take every module?

No. We keep only the ones you need and adapt them to your trade. If something is missing, like a connection with a tool you already use, we can build it. We decide together during the consultation.

Does it replace Acomba or QuickBooks?

No. Your accounting stays where it is. Socle looks after operations, like orders and production, then exports the invoices to your accounting software.

Where is my data?

On a server in Quebec, in Beauharnois, in your own account. Backups are encrypted every night, each employee gets access based on their role, and the system takes Law 25 into account.

How long until it’s running?

About two weeks for the Blueprint, then six to eight weeks to build. The date is set in the Blueprint.

My team isn’t comfortable with computers.

That’s exactly why we draw every screen with you before building. Training is included, and one person on your side becomes the system administrator.

A free 20-minute consultation, no commitment.

Pick a time in the calendar. You’ll get a confirmation email with the invitation.

  1. 1
You tell me what runs on spreadsheets.
    I don’t have a presentation for you.
  2. 2
I show you two screens close to your situation.
You see what your system would look like.
  3. 3
We decide together whether there’s a next step.
If Socle isn’t right for you, I’ll tell you.
