A management system for furniture and cabinet makers

Every order is different, with its own dimensions, finishes and hardware. When all of that lives in emails, paper plans and a spreadsheet, a wrong finish gets discovered at installation. Socle tracks each order in one system, starting with the quote and ending when the balance is paid.

What this system fixes

  • The client changed the handles by email, and the shop never found out.
  • You can’t tell which kitchen is ready for delivery without going to look in the yard.
  • The installation crew finds out the day before that it’s going to Saint-Jérôme.
  • Panels run out when it’s time to start cutting.
  • Nobody knows which deposits have been received and which balances are still to collect.
  • The quote takes an evening because every option is calculated by hand.

The path of an order in Socle

Dimensions, finishes and plans follow the order at every step.

  1. Quote

You put it together from your catalogue of items and options, with the plans attached. When the client accepts, it becomes an order.

  2. Order

Each line keeps its dimensions, finish, hardware and plan revision. The promised delivery date is visible everywhere.

  3. Production

The order moves through your stages, for example cutting, CNC, assembly and finishing. Each work centre sees its queue and marks when a stage is done.

  4. Delivery and installation

You schedule the crew and the truck in the calendar. The packing slip prints in your colours.

  5. Invoice and balance

The deposit received with the order is already attached. The final invoice shows the balance and goes to Acomba or QuickBooks by export.

What you see when you arrive in the morning

Today’s board shows what needs your attention.

1order blocked by a missing part
3installations scheduled this week
4panels below minimum
2balances to collect after delivery

Fictional example.

The modules for furniture makers

Orders and promised dates, production by stage, shipping, inventory of panels and hardware, and purchasing from suppliers. For deposits and balances, the payments module is added to the base. Printable documents in your colours are used for the quote, the invoice and the packing slip.

We keep only the ones you use, with your stages and your vocabulary.

What about your design software?

You keep your design tools. Plans and cut lists are attached to the order as documents, with their revision, so the shop always works from the right version.

Already in service at a made-to-order manufacturer

UnikFeet makes made-to-order insoles. Every pair is unique, like each of your orders, and goes through manufacturing steps before delivery. The system has been in service since September 2026 and the team uses it every day.

“Every small change meant redoing everything. Now it’s all connected: if someone moves an appointment, the calendar updates on its own.”

Questions from furniture makers

Does Socle replace my design software?

No. You keep your design tools. Socle tracks the order, production, delivery and invoicing, and keeps your plans with each order.

Can I track deposits?

Yes, with the payments module. Each payment received is attached to its invoice, and the accounts receivable list shows what is still to collect.

Does it replace Acomba or QuickBooks?

No. Your accounting stays where it is. Socle exports the invoices to your accounting software.

My shop employees aren’t comfortable with computers.

The shop screens are made for a tablet, with big buttons. We draw them with you before building, and training is included.

How long until it’s in service?

About two weeks for the Blueprint, then six to eight weeks to build. The date is set in the Blueprint.
